Ben Kirkland (eldest son of Wayne and Tami Kirkland) has been serving in Kirkuk, Iraq as a Specialist with the D Troop 4-6 ACS. We, as a church, can support Ben by regularly praying for his protection and sending a care package with the following items:
- Packaged cookies and snacks (fruit roll ups, granola bars, Oreos, nothing homemade)
- Non-melting candy (starbursts, jolly rancher, jelly beans, gummy candy)
- Coffee (He love Starbucks! Smaller packaging is easier to use and share.)
- DVDs (especially good comedies!)
- Comic books
- Nerf toys
- Water flavoring packets
- Letters of thanks and encouragement
Ben loves to share what he receives with fellow soldiers.
We are also asking for financial contributions to cover the cost of shipping. Checks should be made out to Scofield and marked “Soldier Care Package”. Please leave checks at the front desk.
