As of June 2021, Scofield Church has officially set aside the Covid Protocols that have been in place since the middle of 2020. With the ending of mandates in our state and country, this seems appropriate. We thank God that we have avoided any serious Covid outbreaks over this past season in both our church and school. We give God glory and thanks.

Of course, those that are concerned for their vulnerability going forward are welcome to continue to wear a mask and maintain distance in our gatherings. We all know that Covid is “nothing to mess around with.” So please be at liberty to take what precautions you think you should. And let all of us please be respectful of others as we have endeavored to do so throughout this unusual season of Covid. We will continue to monitor our local, state and federal health agencies for guidelines that may emerge in the future.  Thanks to all for the faithfulness, giving, service and excellent spirit we have seen in our church over this past difficult season.

Following Christ

Scofield is a non-denominational church that values God centered worship and a bold proclamation of the word of God.

At Scofield, the church is given to compassionate ministry, unceasing prayer and authentic discipleship. Following Jesus in every aspect of our life, to know Him and to make Him known is the mainspring of our community

We are not responsible to God for the souls that are saved, but we are responsible for the Gospel that is preached, and for the way in which we preach it.

Charles Spurgeon

Fall on your knees and grow there. There is no burden of the spirit but is lighter by kneeling under it. Prayer means not always talking to Him, but waiting before Him till the dust settles and the stream runs clear.

F.B. Meyer

A true faith in Jesus Christ will not suffer us to be idle. No, it is an active, lively, restless principle; it fills the heart, so that it cannot be easy till it is doing something for Jesus Christ.

George Whitefield

Why God Will Answer Our Prayers for Revival

It is clear that the churches across our land are in need of revival and renewal. Consider some of the following observations:

  • Statistical studies show very little conversion related growth in evangelical churches across the U.S. It is much higher in other parts of the world. Common experience teaches us that it seems harder and harder to win a hearing for the gospel in our society..
