Our student ministry exists to glorify and worship God through consistent Christ-centered teaching and relationships. We desire that each student would follow Jesus more deeply, be prepared for a lifetime commitment to serve in the body of Christ, and be ambassadors for Christ proclaiming the good news to a lost world. At Scofield, we view student ministry as a critical ministry due to the formation of identity and the physiological developments during adolescence. In the spirit of the Great Commission, we seek to minister and make disciples amidst the unique needs of the youth subculture.
On Sunday morning, the Scofield Student Ministry hosts gender-based small groups for junior high to senior high students centered on the development of the key characteristics of discipleship. These groups are led by adults passionate about Christ and the next generation.
Scofield Church is given to compassionate ministry, unceasing prayer and authentic discipleship. Following Jesus in every aspect of our life, to know Him and to make Him known is the mainspring of our community.
The Scofield Student Ministry also offers additional teaching and gathering times through our Connect program. The Junior High students (6th-8th grade) meet Wednesday nights from 6:15pm-8:00pm and the Senior High students (9th-12th grade) meet Sunday nights from 6:30pm-8:30pm. In our Connect program, students engage in bible teaching, worship, and fellowship.
Scofield Church views the Scofield Student Ministry as a vital part of the church today. The Student Ministry takes part in the current ministries of the church such as worship, technology, evangelism, and missions.
We welcome all to our Scofield Student Ministry where passionate adults and students connect to expand the mission of Christ together!
